Gardens 2004.
This year we visited Portrack, the privately owned garden of Charles Jencks. The garden is not normally open to the public; we were successful in arranging a tour of the garden with Alistair Clark, the Gardener. We also visited Cally Garden at Gatehouse of Fleet.
Each year members of the club volunteer to open their gardens for other members to visit. Thanks to all those who took part this year. There were four gardens open, all beautiful and interesting. Click on a small picture below to see it full size. |
| The Open Gardens day gives another chance to meet other members. As usual, there was a plant sale, and refreshments to keep us going. | ![]() |
